The Laura Desk by Phloem Studio

The Laura Desk by Phloem Studio was built for a furniture design competition in Portland, called ShowPDX. I have seen the work of Phleon Studios before and as usual The Laura Desk is no exception when it comes to the craftsmanship and detail that go into their work. I love the strong angular lines juxtaposed with the flowing grains in the walnut. The drawer integration is so seamless, might I say sexy? I really appreciate seeing the processes, a person can really get a sense for how much thought, planning and work that goes into a piece like this.
