I promise I am not trying to be the uber blog that covers a billion topics but when I come across imagery like this I just have to share. Jean-François Lepage is a french photographer that is obviously very talented and has a wonderfully creative mind. I love the styling of these images. I really like the blown out whites using a focused light, KILLER! More after the jump.

PLEKS - Creating Visual Futures
PLEKS out of Copenhagen does a fantastic job of incorporating typography into their environments. They have such a great esthetic, I am sure influenced by their Danish surroundings. More after the jump.
The tension between research and practice informs our work. We balance the use of design as a strategic tool with craft-based traditions of value and quality.
Pen Pencil Stencil - Mark Giglio
I really love the simple colorful shapes in the design of Mark Giglio. His work spans across more than one medium including: scrap wood turned and painted figures, modern graphic wallpaper, T shirts, and handbags. My favorite has to be the Kokeshi Paint on turned scrap wood, they would look so cool in a kids room.
Texture and Pattern
Sorry for the Flickr post but I have spent all weekend moving out of my house, I am sure most of you can relate. I started a new set called Texture and pattern. There aren’t too many photos in the set yet but here are some of my favorites. Sorry for the lack of source on these.
Dune Wall Tiles From Ubran Product (UP)
I was totally blown away when I laid eyes on these amazing wall tiles from Scottish émigré Stephen Lindsay. I would love to make a table top out of these with a piece of glass over the top. Maybe even a headboard. What about the front for a really large credenza? The ideas could go on forever. Wood, ceramic and concrete are materials currently on track for production. Make sure to check out his site because UP also has some very clever products. More stunning imagery after the jump.
Modern Asian Bar / Club - Fu Bar and Zen, New Zealand
Love the graphic influence of Fu Bar & Zen. The black and white murals in the bathroom are killer as well. More pics after the jump.
